The Prime Minister of the country Zoran Zaev stated today that the negotiations with the Republic of Bulgaria will be intensified in order to reach an agreement acceptable to both parties by the 17th.
“The experience with Greece taught me that a solution can only be reached if both sides emerge victorious. “For this we have the support of Chancellor Merkel”, said Zaev, adding that they have not yet reached this moment with Bulgaria and that this will be worked on in the coming days.
“We will not do a show with this serious moment, for our European future. We have clear positions and will continue to negotiate with Bulgaria to reach a common solution. Our identity is very important and will remain so. “We expect the talks to intensify, until the 17th, which is Tuesday, so that we can reach a solution”, said Zaev.
