Real Madrid XI vs Barcelona: Confirmed early team news, starting lineup, latest injuries for El Clasico

Real Madrid will be desperate to have captain Sergio Ramos fit for today’s El Clasico clash with Barcelona.

Ramos missed the start of Madrid’s Champions League campaign in midweek because of a knee injury and his absence was keenly felt as Los Blancos suffered a shock home defeat to a Covid-depleted Shakhtar Donetsk.

Zinedine Zidane took a gamble by resting the likes of Karim Benzema, Toni Kroos and Vinicius Jr for the game.

The latter came off the bench to score with virtually his first touch, and all three are likely to return to the starting lineup today.
