The state graduation exam will be conducted according to the legal deadlines

The Minister of Education and Science, Mila Carovska says that the state graduation exam will be implemented according to the legal deadlines if the situation with the epidemic remains as it is now.

According to her, the education system is safe and this is evidenced by the numbers that are constantly and transparently published that there is no transmission of the virus in schools.

In a statement to the media, Minister Carovska announced that until yesterday with physical presence teaching there were about 70 students with the virus, or less than 0.06% and 160 teachers which is less than 1%.

“The state graduation exam is mandatory because in this way they can enroll in the faculty. It is a certain level of knowledge and confirmation of that knowledge. “A compromise with quality should not be made in a country that is getting ready towards European criteria”, said Carovska, adding that graduates must submit the state graduation exam by the legal deadline, ie by December 31st.
